Tracy and Mary 2004

Our Story

Thank you for helping M.A.R.Y. make a difference in the
lives of children affected by poverty or illness.

Many Arms Reach You

It All Started With A Hug

When Tracy O'Hara held her newborn niece for the first time, she wanted to be able to wrap her arms around every baby.  While volunteering at her church's food pantry, she thought of a way to achieve her desire.  She would collect baby blankets to give to needy mothers to wrap around their babies.  Tracy named her project "Many Arms Reach You" in honor of her niece, Mary.

Many Arms Reach You, Inc. (M.A.R.Y.) is a non-profit organization established in the Fall of 2000.  The M.A.R.Y. Project makes and distributes knitted, crocheted and quilted blankets to disadvantaged mothers and their children.  To date over 17,000 blankets have been donated to local, national and world charities.
